These are the 6.5 and .264” calibers registered with CIP/SAAMI. As can be seen, it is a riot of sizes and twist rates. The bullet numbers indicated in the left hand column reflect the bullets GSC have available for the specific calibers and that are made according to standard dimensions for each caliber.
There are other 264 bullets available in the HV and SP range as well, but those bullets must be selected where a non standard, custom built rifle is used, with non standard twist rates and magazine box lengths. Establish that the right bullet is selected for an application by checking the Technical Data and Technical Profile pages for a bullet.
It is common practice to see a 6.5x55 Swe rifle rebarreled with a barrel made for a 264 Win Mag or 260 Remington. This is not a problem and is easily accommodated as long as it is known.
